Frequently Asked Questions

Think of me as your personal healthcare navigator and clinical bridge. I provide dedicated, unhurried health oversight in the comfort of your home across Northern Miami-Dade and Broward County. My work focuses on proactive symptom tracking, organizing complex medication regimens, reviewing lab results, preparing you for specialist visits, and communicating directly with your physicians to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

No. Luminara Private Health is strictly dedicated to high-level health oversight, advocacy, medication coordination, and symptom management. I do not perform traditional skilled task nursing (such as complex wound care, IV therapy, or injections) or personal care assistance (such as bathing or dressing). If these hands-on services are needed, I can help coordinate with an accredited local home health agency to put them in place while I continue to oversee your overall health plan.
-
No. Luminara is a proactive, scheduled health management service, not an emergency response provider. In the event of a medical emergency, you should always call 911 immediately. However, for urgent, non-life-threatening clinical updates during business hours, I am accessible according to your subscription tier to evaluate symptoms, consult with your doctors, and help prevent unnecessary hospital visits.
-
No. Luminara Private Health is strictly a direct cash-pay practice. We do not bill health insurance, process Medicare/Medicaid claims, accept HSA or FSA cards, or issue superbills for third-party reimbursement.
By operating entirely independent of insurance companies and third-party payors, my time and focus remain 100% on you—delivering completely personalized, unhurried care without external rules, restrictions, or administrative delays.
-
No. I do not handle insurance paperwork, prior authorizations, or coverage disputes with insurance carriers. Managing financial clearances remains the responsibility of your primary physician's administrative team or your family. However, I can assist by organizing your clinical updates and briefing your medical team on the urgency of a recommended procedure so their staff can process it efficiently.
-
Services are billed on a recurring prepaid monthly subscription basis, due prior to the commencement of services each month. To terminate or adjust services, we require formal written notice per our service agreement protocol.
-
I do not replace your doctors. I make their job easier and your care far more effective. Before appointments, I prepare concise clinical summaries, track symptom trends, and organize updated medication lists dependent on your tier. Physicians appreciate having a Registered Nurse providing clear, reliable updates between visits, which helps streamline your appointments and keeps your care team aligned.
-
Distance caregiving is one of my specialties. Depending on your subscription tier, I provide regular written or verbal reports after home visits, immediately alert family to subtle health shifts, and include them in key physician debriefs. I serve as their trusted eyes and ears on the ground in South Florida.
-
I provide in-person, in-home concierge nursing services to clients located across Northern Miami-Dade County and Broward County.
